Self Evaluation

From english 015s I have learned to appreciate other arts, especially poetry.  Although I do not have any plans to write poetry, it would be nice to attend more readings!    

This semester, we obviously learned more about the artistic community and events here.  This class not only informed me about these events but it also allowed me to talk and listen to other peoples views and opinions through blogging.  Now that I have visited musicals, gardens and poetry readings, I'll know where to go to find something interesting to do on campus. 

I feel like it was a great class in both learning and writing about my experiences.  This semester, I was surrounded by lots of ethos, pathos and logos. At this point, they are pretty much implanted into my brain! Even though I learned that balancing them makes a strong argument, it feels like pathos was always the most important. Especially with making arguments during class. :) 

For the first time, I had to write a lot of responses about what I thought about a specific art topic or event (creating arguments). Although it was kind of difficult, I think I got better expressing my  opinion with words.

 I feel like my experience in english 015 was great!
